Funds that invest in renewable energy has seen a worse performance than other categories the last year, according to Hasse Eriksson in Dagens Nyheter 2009-06-25. Renewable energy is considered a branch of the future but the last year funds within the sector has been worse than funds focusing on Sweden as well as funds focusing on emerging markets. One reason for this is the financial crisis that has made it difficult to finance projects in the sector. The article can be found here. Unfortunately it is available only in Swedish.
