Funds that invest in renewable energy has seen a worse performance than other categories the last year, according to Hasse Eriksson in Dagens Nyheter 2009-06-25. Renewable energy is considered a branch of the future but the last year funds within the sector has been worse than funds focusing on Sweden as well as funds focusing on emerging markets.
