| CO2 World Map from NASA |
|
2008-10-13 16:03:25 NASA has published the first global satellite map showing the spread of CO2 around the globe. The map has been put together by the help of an infrared scanner located on the NASA-shuttle Aqua. The instrument has measured the concentration of carbon dioxide in the jet streams of the northern hemisphere, between the latitudes of 30 and 40. It also shows increased levels of carbon dioxide over the Mediterranean Sea, something that stems from Europe and North America. You can find the whole map here. |
